For a 3 day holiday to Denver I chose the Brown Palace for my wife and I since I had stayed there for an extended time 20 years ago. I was not disappointed as the hotel was even better than during my previous stay. From the professional, courteous service to the beautiful condition of the rooms and public spaces, the Brown Palace does not disappoint and in fact exceeds expectations of what a hotel of its caliber should be. Even during the current exterior renovations, little of the ambiance of the hotel is lost. I’m so happy to have made what was a nostalgic choice and have it become a new and memorable stay.

When we came back to the room the first night, the hotel had lost A/C. Temp went up to 76 and the ceiling fan had an annoying click. The next morning we were told the A/C was fixed, but our room was at 77. They gave us a cooled room that evening that was bigger. In general the rooms are small with few electrical outlets. The hotel itself is a late 18th c. tour de force. Gorgeous. Staff is super. Parking is $40/day, WiFi in room is another $13. Outrageous! Glad we stayed, will not return.
